George Edward Woodger

George was the son of James Alfred Woodger and Dorcas Pearce Woodger (nèe Lovelock).

He was from East Malling in Kent.

George was a petty Officer, stoker on board E37-submarine

 

He was killed in Action when the submarine hit what is believed to be a mine off Orford Ness in the North Sea.

The vessel was lost with all hands.
